Amil

MEANING :

Individuals or institutions that are directly involved with either zakat institutions to manage and administer the affairs of the collection, distribution or overseeing the financial affairs of zakat.

THE PARTIES THAT IMPLEMENT : 

• CENTRE OF CHARITY MELAKA [PZM]
  Act as amil zakat collection
• ZAKAT SECTION, MAIM
  Act as amil zakat distribution
  
  

PZM party are also appoints amil support to help ensure smooth operations and their zakat collection consists of officers of legislation and priest 1 in the kariah-kariah, professional collectors, individuals and agents, banks and post offices. Amil all appointments must be approved in advance by the Islamic Council Meeting Fatwa committee has Malacca and Negeri Melaka.
